GOB Retail Buy ListOther Video Games Systems
The games on the below list are a good chunk of the vintage video game/pc game playing computer systems that GOB Retail will buy, but it is not an exhaustive list. If it played games, we'll likely buy it. We will also buy much of the accessories they made for these systems and all of the games.
Game systems themselves MUST have the following:
1) Be operable.
2) Have the power cords/adapters
3) video cords/tv connectors
4) Game play controller/joystick, etc.
5) A game/software lead mechanism. If that mechanism was external, such as a tape drive for the Commodore Vic 20 and Commodore 64 computers, we will need that drive as well.
Basically, we have to be able to turn the systems on, plug them into a TV and be able to play games on them.
Game systems on this list and the games and accessories for them have virtually no value as playable games in the modern era so their value rest in the want for people to collect them for their history. To be of any value as a collectible, these items must be a good shape, so that is the only condition we can buy them in.
If you have any of these and wish to sell, please call the store at 248-430-4980 to discuss setting up an appointment for us to look at your items
