| Event Details: | Greetings Everyone, GOB is happy to announce we are starting up organized play for Warhammer and other tabletop games in 2026 and beyond. Our first event will be an Escalation League for Warhammer 40K. Details are below. Dates Start: Saturday, March 14 Duration: 6 weeks (ends Saturday, April 25) Army Point Values Week 1 starts at 500 points Weeks 5 and 6 are 2,000 points Entry $10 entry Entry fee is waived if you purchase a Combat Patrol or Army Box on the day you sign up Prizes $10 store credit goes into the prize pool for each entrant $10 to Best Painted Army $10 to Best Sportsman Remaining pool split between 1st and 2nd place point scorers at league end Weekly Unit Restrictions Weeks 1–2: No Vehicles, Aircraft, Monsters, or Titanic units Week 3: No Aircraft or Titanic units Week 4: No Titanic units Weeks 5–6: Anything allowed if it fits the weekly points Model Rules All figures must be official Games Workshop models (no 3D prints, third-party models, or proxies) 3D or non-official weapons/accessories/custom mods are allowed if unit identity is clear Painted is recommended, not required You may change factions from game to game as long as you stay at or under the weekly points limit Best Sportsman and Best Painted Army will be voted on by all players present on the final Saturday (April 25). League Schedule Week 1: Sat Mar 14 – Fri Mar 20 (500 pts max) Week 2: Sat Mar 21 – Fri Mar 27 (750 pts max) Week 3: Sat Mar 28 – Fri Apr 3 (1000 pts max) Week 4: Sat Apr 4 – Fri Apr 10 (1500 pts max) Week 5: Sat Apr 11 – Fri Apr 17 (2000 pts max) Week 6: Sat Apr 18 – Sat Apr 25 (2000 pts max) You may play below the weekly maximum if both players agree (example: playing 1000 points during Week 5 is allowed). Point Scoring Game points (per game): 500 pts: Win 3 / Loss 1 / Tie 1 750 pts: Win 5 / Loss 2 / Tie 1 1000 pts: Win 7 / Loss 3 / Tie 1 1500 pts: Win 9 / Loss 4 / Tie 1 2000 pts: Win 12 / Loss 5 / Tie 2 Primary Game: Each week, you may choose one game as your Primary Game. It must be against an opponent you have not played yet in the league. Primary Game points are x4 the listed amount for the player who declares it as Primary. Bonus points: Best Sportsman: +15 points Best Painted Army: +20 points Ties: A tie is any game both players agree is a draw or unclear as time runs out and the game cannot be completed. Time runs out at 15 minutes before GOB closing, or at an agreed end time set before the game begins. Score Sheets Pick up a score sheet at the counter before play Fill in both players’ info before the game After the game, record win/loss/tie, both players sign, and turn it in before leaving Games without a submitted sheet will not count Organizing Games Saturdays are the official league day All games must be played at GOB Retail You may play as many games as you can schedule, with these limits: You cannot play the same opponent twice in the same day Players may share contact information at their own discretion GOB will not maintain or share player contact info You may also join the GOB Warhammer Players Meetup group to find opponents. If you join after it begins, you will have fewer weeks to play games and score points.
