Summary Review	On The Brink adds some interesting gameplay changes to Pandemic, and also tosses in some high quality component upgrades that will enhance your original boxset substantially. You'll get a fifth disease, a bio terrorist, and hours and hours of more replay
Detailed Review	Since this is an expansion of Pandemic, I won't talk a lot about the gameplay itself: although On The Brink adds some crucial and incredible changes, these are more minor than significant changes. First of all, this box adds a fifth super-virus to amp up the challenge. What's really cool is how this is done: instead of a huge new board, On The Brink comes with a sticker you can add to your original Pandemic board beside the other pre-existing viruses. On The Brink also tosses in a few new characters and some new pawns to represent them, but the best new feature in this expansion is the addition of the Bio Terrorist character! Because the game wasn't already difficult enough, On The Brink adds a human player who's goal is to kill the world and work against the other human players. Pretty gnarly, right? What makes On The Brink worth the buy are its components. It upgrades the original Pandemic box in such a substantial way, it makes NOT buying this expansion worth it. You get really nice plastic "petri dishes" to store your disease cubes, new pawns, and better looking command center icons. Eliminating a ton of plastic bags is always a good move, but when the pieces are this nice AND they fit the theme of the game, you're looking at a pretty savvy upgrade.

Summary Review	I. Love. Pandemic. This expansion makes me love it even more. You get more role cards, one more Epidemic card (it makes a difference, believe me), and another disease. I even love losing this game. It just makes me want to play again.
Detailed Review	Purple disease. Mutation challenge. Virulent strain. Legendary (that's what its called when you play with all seven(!) Epidemic cards). The Epidemiologist, the Generalist, the Containment Specialist, the Archivist. The effin' Bioterrorist. So many things that just add to the awesomeness that is Pandemic. I don't think I can love this game any more. Maybe if I ever get to play In The Lab (a different review for a different day). But On The Brink only adds to the amazingness that is Pandemic. This game seriously never gets old. There are so many different challenges, role combinations, and game set-ups that you could play this a hundred times a day and never have exactly the same game twice. I thought the original Pandemic was the best game ever, but adding On The Brink exceeded all of my expectations. It's co-op, unless you don't want it to be. It's fast and easy to win, unless you don't want it to be. It's hard and infuriating and impossible, unless you don't want it to be. I literally have nothing bad to say about this game, except that I'm wasting my time on the GOB website and not playing it right now.
